GB's best ever day at an Away Games

I was right about records being broken!

Andy Murray becomes the first person to win two Olympic Gold medals in tennis back to back. He did it in some style too against a really tough opponent in Juan-Martin del Potro (four nail-biting sets).

Barnaby and Morris went to bed but I stayed up to watch it.  It didn't finish till after one o'clock in the morning which is why I'm quite late posting this. (I didn't get up very early!)

Earlier Max Whitlock won another Gold on the pommel horse, Louis Smith won Silver, GB got Gold and Silver in the cycling (Men's sprint) and Justin Rose won the first Gold medal in golf in 112 years. (after scoring the first Olympics hole-in-one earlier in the tournament.)

It was Great Britain's most successful day at an Away Olympics and we're now second in the medal table.

All this and Usain Bolt won Gold in the 100 metres meaning he's on course for the treble treble (three gold medals in three successive Olympics in THREE events).

Now that's inspiring!
